In our language arts class we have been reading Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis.  In this novel, a young boy searches for his father during the Great Depression.  In order to understand the novel better, we created a wiki for the Great Depression.  You can search through our wiki to learn more about the important people and events of this time period.

Each pair of students editing the topics below was required to:

               1. Give a quotation from the novel dealing with the topic

             2. Give a summary of the topic

               3. Explain how the topic relates to the novel

               4. Clearly indicate and cite all sources used
